The course of Oncology aims to provide the student with the essential notions for an overall evaluation of the diagnostic and therapeutic path of the cancer patient, with focus on neoplasms and complications of treatments in the fields of otolaryngology and gastrointestinal tract.
Course Prerequisites
Understanding the topics covered in the Oncology module requires the student to have knowledge of human anatomy, in particular oral cavity and GI tract, physiology, general biology / pathology. They must also possess general concepts of epidemiology and pharmacology.
