Course Objectives

Understanding the Fundamental Principles of Magnetic Resonance:
- Explain the basic principles of magnetic resonance, including concepts such as nuclear spin, precession, relaxation, and radiofrequency pulses.

Knowledge of Hardware:
- Familiarity with the hardware of a magnetic resonance system, including magnets, RF coils, and gradients.

Understanding Images and Sequences:
- Understanding acquisition sequences to obtain images suitable for different clinical applications.
- Comprehend the effect of sequence parameters on image quality.
- Recognize the characteristics of images in different sequences (e.g., T1-weighted, T2-weighted, FLAIR).
