The Course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the business administration in its basic principles (needs, values, organization, management, assets, economy, ethics and responsibility) and with respect to the morphological and physiological characteristics of any type of enterprise (public, private, non-profit). At the end of the Course, students will be able to understand the competitive challenges that any enterprise is called to face in the various socio-economic scenarios, to know the accounting and managerial language widespread in organizations also according to the sustanible development goals of the Agenda 2030, and to prepare the sustainability report to disseminate the results to the relevant stakeholders.
Course Prerequisites
The course aims to introduce the students to the basic principle of business administration. There are no prerequisites, but more text books will be suggested if they are required.
Teaching Methods
The course will be developed through lectures. The contents of each lesson will be exposed through the projection of ppt slides that will be uploaded on the KIRO didactic platform in relation to the course. The teaching method adopted is based on the work & class, with the proposal of business cases to be solved and subsequent discussed in the classroom.
Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a written test on all contents of the course programme. Students can use the calculator for the written exam. During the course, a written test will be proposed in order to assess the learning level acquired by the class. Moreover, a team work on a case study will be proposed in order to stimulate this soft skill (team working).
