Knowledge of the production system of Italian cinema after the Second World War, with particular reference to the forms and methods of screenwriting.

Knowledge of the outlines of the history of cinema and the forms of cinematographic language.

From a didactic point of view, teaching makes use of the following methodologies: frontal lessons, dedicated power points, handouts, film analysis.

WRITINGS FOR ITALIAN CINEMA The post-World War II period in Italy was a time of profound rethinking for our country in terms of identity and cultural positioning. Cinema represented an exemplary agent and witness in this process. The course, starting from the study of the forms and methods of the screenplay, will frame the period in question, analyzing texts, authors, production dynamics that have contributed to determining the identity of our cinema.
The course also includes a screenplay study laboratory.
