The workshop will deal with film cultural promotion, which has become increasingly important over time. Cultural promotion has gone far beyond the confines of academic research or debate for insiders, projecting itself into transversal areas, both with respect to the recipients and the actors involved: from public to exhibitors, from the creative to the commercial chain. The workshop aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the main elements for the promotion of cinema: the qualification of the film proposal, the ability to retain an audience diversified by age, background, personal journey. The current transformation of twentieth-century fruition requires a new creative and productive effort that supports and integrates the traditional proposal. The objective of the workshop is to transmit knowledge and skills to promote knowledge of cinema and its history, and its language, in order to acquire methods and tools for a conscious reading of the film and the film image, for the purposes of educational and cultural growth, especially aimed at younger people, in particular school students of all levels.
