At the end of the course the students should be able to (i) correctly read a topographic map at different scales, (ii) carry out orienteering activities and (iii) correctly draw the position and the attitude of a geological outcrop.
Course Prerequisites
The student should know the main basic geological concepts provided by the course Introduzione alla geologia during the first year.

Orienteering activity; the exam will consist of a brief field trip during which the student will be asked to draw points and paths followed during the field trip
