The aim of the course is to provide the student with the most frequent observation pediatric diseases. On this basis, the student will be able to collect, analyze and interpret significant data for the needs of the patient, be able to perform the functional evaluation correctly; formulate the diagnosis of physiotherapy (functional diagnosis); plan and implement care and rehabilitation interventions aimed at specific functional goals, through a personality-centered approach.
Course Prerequisites
In order to gain access to the course, the student must have undergone and passed the following: Physics Statistics and Computer Science; Anatomy and Histology; Biology and Biological Chemistry; Foreign Language as well as the Certification of Internship, by November 30th. These requirements are required to be admitted to the second year of the course, as provided by the teaching regulations.
Teaching Methods
The lessons will be held in compliance with the Governance provisions: lectures, presentation and discussion of clinical cases. Power point will be used for the lectures, which will then be made available on the KIRO moodle platform.
Assessment Methods
The final test is written and focuses on the topics covered during the lessons. The learning outcomes are verified through the administration of a questionnaire of 30 questions; the correct test will be awarded a score of 30: each correct answer is assigned the score: 1. The duration of the test is 1 hour: during the exam the use of notes, texts, telephone is not allowed. The teacher is available to clarify any doubts regarding the formulation / interpretation of the questions.
