At the end of the course the student will have to know the main pathologies of neurosurgical interest, the neurosurgical treatments relevant to them and the implications for rehabilitation so as to be able to interact effectively with the medical specialists involved in this field, communicate to patients what within her/his competence and profitably participate in future courses, congresses and scientific conferences relating to rehabilitation and neurosurgery.
Course Prerequisites
Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system, skull and spine.
Teaching Methods
Lectures, with projection of images and videos.
Assessment Methods
Oral exam. The exam aims to verify the level of learning of the neurosurgery topics covered during the course through an interview.
