A) KNOWLEDGE -To provide specialized continuing education in Pediatric Dentistry and to promote theoretical-practical learning of the most recent acquisitions in the diagnostic and therapeutic framing of the young patient with regard to odontostomatological problems, including techniques of approach and behavioral management; - promote scientific and technical updating, with acquisition of the ability to organize specialized practice dedicated to pediatric dentistry; - foster a disciplinary competence that is able to provide specialized service from an interdisciplinary and cooperative perspective.
B) OF COMPETENCE (know how) - Colloquing with the patient - Drafting the medical record - Do the clinical examination of the small patient - Define the diagnosis and treatment plan of major pediatric dento-parodontal diseases. - Interact positively with the young patient and his or her parents - Using fluoride and varnishes in the prevention of carious pathology - Use of sealants - Teaching oral hygiene
