The teaching aims to provide the student with the cognitive and methodological tools aimed at promoting the learning of principles that characterize the nursing profession, the theoretical general conceptual framework, health and related health determinants , The nursing process addressed to the person in the different age groups - particular references to the pediatric age - with specific development of each stage and in relation to the major health problems. At the end of the course the student will be able to: - to know and to describe with critical thinking skills the main normative and ethical-deontological references characterizing the nursing profession and the main conceptual theoretical frameworks of the profession. - Understand and know how to describe with critical thinking skills the concepts of Person, life / need activities, health and health determinants, prevention, therapeutic education, continuity of care. - Understand and know how to describe with critical thinking skills the most relevant health problems from an epidemiological point of view. - Understand and be able to describe the methodological approach to problem solving and nursing diagnosis characterizing the process of assistance in all its phases: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation with specific reference to the various age groups.
