These are seminar lessons, for which attendance is recommended. If possible, visits to some archives are planned.
Assessment Methods
Attending students will be required to write a written essay and take a short oral exam on the course content.

Texts
Attending students will be provided with a bibliography in class and the texts will be uploaded to the KIRO platform. Attending students are required to write a short thesis (approximately 10 pages in Times New Roman 12 font) on a classic work of historiography, which they will agree with the lecturer after the start of the course.
Contents
This course provides an overview of the history of historiography from the late 18^(th) century to the present day. Historiographical practices, schools and masters will be examined and analysed through the reading of historical texts.
