The primary objective of this course is a descriptive analysis of the main issues concerning public intervention in the economy. After discussing the theoretical justifications for public intervention, students will be introduced to the analysis of public revenue and expenditure, both from a theoretical perspective and with reference to the current Italian and European institutional context.
Course Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites. However, it is preferable that students have already taken the Economics course.

Written exam. Typically: two short questions (worth a total of 10 points) and two long questions (worth a total of 20 points).
