The main course aims to provide students with the English lexical, morpho-syntactic and stylistic skills which will enable them to understand the main topics of the master's course. Students can also attend a general English integrative course to reach the B2/C1 language proficiency which will help them assimilate the main course contents.

Assessment Methods
The test will be oral and will focus on the vocabulary and the morpho-syntactic and stylistic aspects of the texts analysed during the lessons. The reading and translation of a section of one of the specialised texts analysed during the course will be required.

After the first lessons on the main general features of legal English, the course will focus on the legal vocabulary and concepts related to the following topics: regulatory compliance, data protection compliance, criminal liability, antitrust compliance, artificial intelligence compliance, environmental compliance, insolvency proceedings, privacy, anti-corruption, contracts and guarantees. Students can also attend a general English integrative course to reach the B2/C1 language proficiency which will help them assimilate the main course contents.
