The course is based on those historical and critical rudiments which students will have acquired in the course of «French literature 3». The aim is to broaden the student’s literary awareness and to develop, possibly through set written papers, a variety of methodological and cultural competences and an adequate approach to literary texts in French.
Course Prerequisites
First-year students must have passed the third-year examination of French Literature (Triennial Degree). Second-year students must have passed the exam of "French Literature A c.p.".
Teaching Methods
Lectures, with translation and analysis of texts in french.
For students in need, the teacher will provide the most efficient support depending on the case, taking into account each other's requirements.
Assessment Methods
Oral exam, in French. The exam aims at testing the student's knowledge of French and of the topics discussed during the course.
