The student at the end of the course will be able to: 1. understand the basic ideas of simple and relatively complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics; 2. interact with some fluency and spontaneity. He/she will be able to produce clear texts on the topics covered, being able to clarify his/her point of view, with relative fluency.

Assessment Methods
Written and oral examination End-of-First-Semester Exam – Written Test At the end of the first semester, students will take a written exam consisting of vocabulary exercises, reading comprehension tasks, and open-ended questions. The result will be graded on a 30-point scale. End-of-Course Exam – Oral Test At the end of the course, students will complete an oral exam aimed at assessing the language skills acquired throughout the program. This test will also be graded on a 30-point scale. Final Evaluation The final grade will be the arithmetic mean of the scores obtained in the written and oral exams, both expressed on a 30-point scale. The final result will not be recorded as a numerical grade but will correspond to a satisfactory/unsatisfactory assessment (idoneità).
