The course aims at giving to the students the basic principles and notions on liquid and solid state chemistry, to understand the materials properties and their performances. At the end of the course the students should: - have knowledge on the fundamentals of the liquid and solid state chemistry; - put into relation the performances of the materials to their physical and chemical properties - choose the suitable material to obtain peculiar performances
Course Prerequisites
Chemistry, mathematics, and physics basic notions.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lessons, some of them devoted to discuss with the students examples of performing materials.
Assessment Methods
Oral examination on the topics developed in the course.
