Syllabus

Course Objectives


The main objective of the teaching is to provide an in-depth knowledge of the guidelines for inclusive motor education in basic school. Through the training course, the student will acquire practical theoretical skills related to teaching and learning methodologies.
The expected learning outcomes are as follows:
Know, understand and describe a program suitable for the inclusion of pupils and pupils with special educational needs.
Knowing the peculiar deontological and professional aspects for the teaching of motor education for primary school, and of the teaching methodology.
Ability to apply the knowledge acquired in order to adapt the various types of exercises for students with disabilities, visual, auditory and motor-intellectual and further adaptations for students with other special educational needs.

Course Prerequisites


Fundamentals of human anatomy and physiology relating to both early childhood and the golden age of motor skills, knowledge of general pedagogy and developmental psychology, principles of technique and teaching of physical exercise, teaching of motor activity applied to school evolutionary.

Teaching Methods


the teaching makes use of an opening frontal lesson and a closing frontal lesson, while all the other activities are theoretical laboratory mixed practices with the participation of the students in exercises, simulations, reports and possible group work. For carrying out the frontal lessons PowerPoint presentations are used, made available to students in the section dedicated to teaching on the moodle KIRO platform. During the laboratory exercises, students are guided through the examination of various exercises.

Assessment Methods


Non-evaluative project work on the preparation of lessons, contextualized to the environment, the age of the students and their special educational needs.

U.D. 2 Activities to be used for 5/6 year olds oriented towards first knowledge
Methods - Story-telling and context - open games - load - adaptation and inclusion of SEN, listening relationship, sensory-perceptive skills in relation to game functions.
Contents - The use of playful activities suitable for 5/6 year olds and methodological variants of BES inclusion
U.D. 3 Activities to be used for knowledge oriented 8/9 year olds
Methods -The discovery of the games and the basic rules - the load of the lesson - the adaptation and inclusion of the B.E.S. from sensory-perceptive skills to motor skills in relation to game functions, the verticalization of motor skills.
Contents - The use of playful activities suitable for children aged 8/9 and methodological variants of inclusion BES
U.D. 4 Activities to be used for skill oriented 10/11 year olds
Methods -The function of games and rules in motor activities - game situations, lesson load - adaptation and inclusion of SEN from sensory-perceptive skills to motor skills in relation to game functions, the verticalization of motor skills in skills
Contents - The use of playful activities suitable for children aged 9/10 and methodological variants of inclusion BES
U.D. 5 How to operate in primary school in relation to learning
Methods - From territorial experiences in primary school - motor literacy - to sports school - class sports - active kids school - inclusion activities in the various projects
Contents - Practical laboratory exercises
U.D. 6 Laboratorio didattico
Metodi - Dalle schede operative alla programmazione didattica l’attività per i bambini ipodotati, lo studio dei BES bisogni educativi speciali, indicazioni sullo studio dei fenomeni di iperattività dei bambini, di mancanza di concentrazione, e alcune norme sulla sicurezza nell’ambiente di lavoro.
Contenuti - Esercitazioni pratiche di laboratorio con simulazioni
U.D. 7 Laboratorio didattico
Metodi - Dalle schede operative alla programmazione didattica l’attività per i bambini ipodotati, lo studio dei BES bisogni educativi speciali, indicazioni sullo studio dei fenomeni di iperattività dei bambini, di mancanza di concentrazione.
Contenuti - Esercitazioni pratiche di laboratorio con simulazioni .
U.D. 8 The closing feedback of the course
Methods and contents - Analysis of the work carried out - concept maps - flexible teaching tools, feedback in the use of the workbook, the development model, future proposals.
