The course entitled "Clinical Sports Nutrition: Past, Present and Future" will consist of five parts: 1 Basics of sports nutrition; 2 New aspects of macronutrients for health and performance; 3 New aspects of micronutrients for health and performance; 4 Nutritional periodization in individual sports; 5 Nutritional periodization in team sports.

Dr. Burke is a sports dietitian with 40 years of education and consulting experience for elite athletes. She worked at the Australian Institute of Sport for 30 years, initially as Head of Sports Nutrition and subsequently as Chief of Nutrition Strategy. Dr. Burke was also team dietician for the Australian Olympic teams during the Summer Olympics from 1996 to 2012. Her publications include over 350 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and book chapters.
