About the environment • logistics of the Operating Units and outpatient facilities • operating professionalism • roles • internal forms regarding patients: Obstetrics Operating Unit This internship is aimed at the acquisition of knowledge, skills and behaviors aimed in particular at the provision of basic obstetric care to satisfy the fundamental needs of pregnant women and those who have recently given birth. regarding patients: Obstetric triage During the internship, the student must observe and understand how the role is configured of the midwife in the context of assistance in emergency situations and in cases of planned hospitalization; in particular, he must acquire knowledge regarding the methodological process capable of identifying the presumed clinical severity of a patient and indicating the priority of care by assigning a priority code. regarding patients: Obstetric-gynecological clinics
The student, during the professional training course, must acquire knowledge on the general organization of the service and its management by the midwives; must observe the type of obstetric-gynecological pathologies involved; must verify the theoretical knowledge acquired on the role of the healthcare personnel present in the service; must understand the importance of communication in the care process between professional figures and between them and the user regarding patients: Medically Assisted Procreation Center During the internship, the student must observe and understand how the role and activities of the midwife are configured in the context of assistance in a ART centre. regarding patients: Ultrasound Clinic and Prenatal Diagnosis Center During the internship, the student must understand the operating methods of an ultrasound clinic of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, the typology of the services, must observe the role and functions of the midwife in accompanying the couple from the interview to the care phase in prenatal diagnosis.

Assessment Methods
The clinical tutors express an opinion on the student's work in relation to the objectives to be achieved. This judgment is integrated with the mark expressed out of thirtieths of the internship exam which is both oral and practical.
