The training objectives concern, for the first year of the course, the acquisition of technical skills on venipuncture, bladder catheterization, the detection of vital parameters and the execution of HPV tests and vaginal-urethral swabs. The training objectives concern, for the second and third year of the course, the acquisition of technical skills on anesthetic assistance in general and loco-regional anesthesia and on assistance in eutocic childbirth. Furthermore, for the third year of the course, laboratory activities are planned on assistance with operative childbirth, natural birth in breech presentation and practical exercises on maneuvers to resolve shoulder dystonia.
Course Prerequisites
Laboratory activities are present in all three years of the course. The prerequisites concern having completed the basic obstetric care lessons 1, 2, 3 for the first year; having completed anesthesiology and physiological labor and birth assistance lessons for the second and third year.
