This course is intended to provide a practical framework for psychological assessment within the socio-healthcare context. In particular, it offers students the opportunity to develop competencies in planning assessment procedures for work-related stress in hospital and social settings, as well as in applying specific tools for the evaluation of risk factors and resources through structured practical activities.
Course Prerequisites
It is advisable to have previously attended at least one course related to Health Psychology and Work/Organizational Psychology.
Teaching Methods
The different topics of this course will be addressed interactively using including multimedia material or case studies. The application of evaluation tools and the planning of interventions through guided practical exercises will be covered. Attendance of at least 80% of the lessons is required.
Assessment Methods
The exam includes an individual written test with close-ended and open-ended answers.

Various materials (slides, non-copyrighted questionnaires, etc.) will be provided during the lessons.
Contents
•Introduction to psychological assessment in socio-healthcare contexts: roles, ethics, and settings, with discussion of case studies. •Work-related stress assessment: theoretical models (e.g., INAIL) and tools for assessing risk and protective factors (questionnaires, interviews, and focus group). •Planning assessment protocols and administering tools through role-playing activities. •Interpretation of results and preparation of psychological reports, including practical exercises and case study discussions.
