The course aims to deepen knowledge of models and methods of psychological assessment and research in the healthcare field, through the use of standardized psychodiagnostic tools as well as qualitative and quantitative techniques. Particular attention is given to hospitalized patients with cardio-pulmonary, neuromotor, or degenerative conditions, providing an overview of the assessments and interventions carried out by psychologists and neuropsychologists. Students will acquire knowledge and tools useful for clinical and health psychologists.
Teaching Methods
Frontal lectures and practical exercises according to the number of students attending the course. In accordance with the University Guidelines on the Teaching Method of Delivery in the academic year 2025/2026, the course is conducted through lectures that can be attended in person at scheduled dates and times and there is the possibility of downloading and consulting slides or other teaching materials from the KIRO university platform.
Assessment Methods
Oral exam. No differences between students attending or not attending the lessons in presence.
