Syllabus

Course Objectives

The Human Physiology course is designed to teach the main physiological processes that underlie the different systems of the human body. By the end of the course, the student will have acquired a basic knowledge of the functioning of the major organs and systems of the human body and the control systems that regulate their activity.

Course Prerequisites

A good knowledge of elements of anatomy and biochemistry with particular reference to topics directly related to motor activity is a basic prerequisite.

Teaching Methods

The course is organized in lectures

Assessment Methods

The final assessment of learning will take the form of a written examination covering the topics of the programme taught in class. The final examination will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions and will be completed in 40 minutes. There are no penalties (deduction of marks) for incorrect answers.
