Overview

Date/time interval

Secondo Semestre (02/03/2026 - 05/06/2026)

Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims to lead the student to learn the main physiological changes that take place during physical activity and after training. Upon completion of the lectures, the student will have acquired fundamental knowledge that will enable him or her to administer physical activity with full awareness of the physiological responses that will follow the prescription, maximizing the outcome for improved athletic performance.

Course Prerequisites (2)

Anatomy, Biochemistry, Human Physiology
anatomy, Biochemistry, Human Physiology

Teaching Methods

Lectures and labs on selected physiological aspects

Assessment Methods

Written test with open questions aimed to verify the comprehension of key aspects. For the purposes of further verifying the student's comprehension, particular importance will be given to description of graphs / diagrams regarding fundamental functions taken into consideration during classes
