Know the goals and forms of movement adapted to the different stages of development and critically understand physical activity. Be able to design, propose, and manage educational and training curricula through physical activity (lessons, exercises, games, sports ...) Learn to evaluate and regulate the educational intervention according to the partial and final results.
Course Prerequisites
No prerequisites are required.
Teaching Methods
Theoretical and practical frontal lectures, exercises and practical didactic simulations.

Contents
The course is held in theoretical and practical form. The lessons include the frontal presentation of information and the implementation of interactive and simulation forms to be carried out with practical activities in the gym. The course will address the main issues related to the proposal of motor activities in developmental age by analyzing the main theories on motor learning and the methodological/didactic approach to movement. Besides, attention will be paid to the analysis of the activity contents through the construction of educational paths and teaching units with the simulation of operational realities. 1. The human movement: introduction and definition; 2. Movement and Body Growth: the stages of development; 3. From the body scheme to motor skills: how complex motor skills are built; 4. Motor competence and learning: by imitation, by intuition, by trial and error, problem-solving; 5. Game: classification and methods of implementation; educational process, tool for the development of motor and social behavior; 6. Movement alterations: effects on the overall formation of the person; hypokinesis and its effects; paramorphism and dysmorphisms in the developmental age; 7. Didactic directions: the annual program, the teaching unit and the lesson plan; 8. Professional ethics: knowing how to do and 'knowing how to do', teacher-student relationship, environment and safety; 9. Youth training: principles and definitions.
