Course Objectives
The MINOR AILMENTS course is fundamental for those who have chosen LM + in the 5th year, but it is FREE COURSE for all other students of Pharmacy and CTF of all years. And then everyone can register and participate by getting credits and CERTIFICATION! By organising it online, distance learning students or ERASMUS students or those engaged in other activities can also access it by checking the registrations. It can also be OPEN for students of other degree programs who then may ask for recognition within the 25 annual free individual extracurricular CFU to their CD.
You can include it in your curriculum at any time and year.
It will be theoretical and practical including the COURSE PRACTICAL MANEUVERS IN PHARMACY AND BLSD, as that done in July if you wish.
THE COURSE WILL BE ON-SITE AND ONLINE LIVE RECORDED AND THEN WILL BE PROGRAMMED THE PRACTICAL PART WITH MANEUVERS AND EXAMS AND TESTS TO BE DONE AGREEING TIME AND LOCATION.
THE COURSE WILL BE COMPLETED BY PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES CONSISTING IN TESTING PROCEDURES THAT THE PHARMACIST MUST KNOW HOW TO DO TO FULLY REALIZE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CLINICAL PHARMACIST IN THE PHARMACY SERVICES.
IN PARTICULAR TO KNOW HOW TO PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURES, TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS, TO BE ABLE TO GIVE ADVICE, TO COMMUNICATE.
THESE ACTIVITIES ARE CONDENSED INTO THE PRACTICAL COURSE REVAPOCT AND BLSD. SUMMARY INCLUDE: COMMUNICATION SKILLS, KNOWING HOW TO MEASURE SPO2,FC, BLOOD PRESSURE, ANAMNESIS, EVALUATION OF THERAPY, EXECUTION OF ECG, PERFORMANCE OF THE MAIN LABORATORY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES SUCH AS GLYCEMIA, LIPID STATUS, ETC., TESTING FOR COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT, MOBILITY, DAILY LIFE SKILLS, ADDICTION, FRAGILITY,

THE COURSE WILL BE OFFERED IN ITALIAN AND ENGLISH. There will be many contributions from foreign and Italian clinical pharmacists with many practical activities. The role play and application of multidisciplinary and multi-professional mDT MPT work is fundamental. We will try to offer between theory and practice to students the most important skills for professional activity as provided by the new Curriculum of 2022 which provides for the verification of acquisition of practical operational SKILLS both for the practice in hospital and community. Those who will follow the practical part and pass the tests will be awarded the Open Badge.
