Syllabus

Course Objectives

1) Learn to manage patients in outpatient and home care settings, with particular attention to citizens with chronic and vulnerable conditions.
2) Learn to recognize and handle situations of intimate partner violence.
3) Acquire basic knowledge regarding the role of a public official/public service officer, including reporting, obligations, and certifications.
4) Be able to write a therapeutic prescription, understanding the tools to ensure correct medication use (ministerial notes, therapeutic plans), drug reimbursement classes, and the official prescription forms.

Teaching Methods

Classroom lectures, discussions of real clinical cases, and practical exercises both on paper and online.
Each student will practice managing the proposed procedures until achieving full autonomy.

Assessment Methods

Throughout the course, continuous interaction with students will allow evaluation of their personal and professional development.
The final assessment will be oral, including open-ended questions on the topics covered and a simulated medication prescription.

Contents

Through the analysis of real clinical cases, different types of patient management will be simulated, along with integration with hospital territorial networks and obligations arising from holding the role of public official.
Practical exercises will include:
1) Writing a report and sending it to the appropriate recipient.
2) Exercises on forms during the lessons: INPS sickness certificates, INAIL work accident certificates, death certificates.
3) Prescription of medications.
4) Completion of therapeutic plans via the dedicated portal.
5) Analysis of the vaccination process: how to organize a vaccination campaign, simulation on the ARVAX portal.
6) Prosthetic management: simulation on the ASSISTANT-RL portal.
