Approach to the victim of domestic violence: how to relate (which questions to ask and which not to ask, how to put the woman and the minor at ease); how to bring out stories of violence; pay attention to warning crimes; collect symptoms and signs in order to activate the protection process for the woman and any minor. How to draft a Report/Report and send it correctly to the competent authority. Knowledge of the Inter-institutional Anti-Violence Territorial Network of Pavia with particular reference to the role of the Anti-Violence Centers and the Anti-Violence Observatory at the Medical Association.
Course Prerequisites
No specific requirements. The student with knowledge of Forensic Medicine, with particular reference to the duties of the Doctor before the Law and his role as a Public Official, will be able to better understand the details of the procedures approved by the Inter-institutional Territorial Anti-violence Network of Pavia.
Teaching Methods
Role play (presentation of real clinical cases). Collective discussion. Work in groups to draft a Report/Report. Collective work on the anti-violence procedures of the territorial network Screening of the award-winning film "L'affido".
Assessment Methods
Correction of the papers and collective restitution. Questions on the scenarios presented, discussion.
