GaAs/AlGaAs photonic crystal waveguides with unconventional tilted-square lattices and di2erent 3lling factors are fully
investigated by means of variable angle re5ectance spectroscopy, which yields the photonic band dispersion, and theoretical
calculation of both re5ectance spectra and photonic band structure.
