Per un'edizione del libretto del "Trovatore": documenti nuovi e vecchi

The finding of a new manuscript libretto of "Il trovatore," written by Giuseppina Strepponi and Giuseppe Verdi, gives the occasion to reconsider the relations between the so far known manuscript and printed sources and to propose the criteria for a critical edition of the libretto. An appendix offers a diplomatic transcription of the new source.
