New species of Pararotalia le Calvez, in Pliocene sediments of the Lower Valsesia and Western Liguria.

The aim of this note is to describe Pararotalia padana n. sp., found in Pliocene outcrops of the Lower Valsesia and Western Liguria. The new species differs from the previously known Pararotalia species, such as P. armata (d'Orbigny, 1826) by possessing different size, number and shape of chambers and ornamentation.
