The Role of Volunteers in the MTT-S [President’s Column]

The IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) relies heavily on the dedication and hard work of its volunteers. These volunteers include elected and ex officio members of the Administrative Committee (AdCom), members of AdCom committees, and many other individuals who support various activities within the Society (Figure 1).
