From research to design

The rapid development of contemporary Chinese architecture and large scale of urbanization in the past few decades has given architects, architectural educators, theorists and others a golden opportunity for architectural exploration. Architecture schools and academic institutions have become architectural laboratories that lead avant-garde experimentation in architecture.
Fifty works of 27 architects from Tongji School are now being exhibited in a significant exhibition. They are leading the wave and pushing the boundaries of contemporary Chinese architecture.
