Abstract:
We take up the study of the Brill-Noether loci of a smooth projective variety X of dimension > 1, and the Petri map.
Inequalities for the numerical invariants of curves that do not move
linearly on a surface of maximal Albanese dimension are obtained as an
application of the previous results..The research that lead to the present paper was partially supported by a grant of the group GNSAGA of INdAM
