Post-transfusional AIDS

Two cases of post-transfuzional AIDS in two premature babies who received blood of the same seropositive donor, are reported. The risk of the suceptibility to HIV infection of these patients, in relation to the immaturity of immuen system and to the transfusional treatment ofter necessary in premature newborns, is stressed.
