At the successful conclusion of this module, you should be able to demonstrate the following module level learning outcomes (MLOs): - MLO.1: Identify phases of digestion, secretion, absorption, and motility. - MLO.2: Apply concepts to malabsorption, acid-base disturbances, and motility disorders. - MLO.3: Critically analyse control mechanisms of digestion and gut-brain interactions. - MLO.4: Communicate clearly about digestive processes and their systemic implications. - MLO.5: Use further readings to understand the role of gut microbiota in physiology.
