Contenuti
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of research design, with the explicit goal of enabling them to develop a clear, coherent, and feasible research thesis. It covers how to formulate and refine research questions, develop hypotheses, conduct literature reviews, select cases, and identify, collect, and manage data (6 hours). The second part of the course focuses on a range of methods commonly used in the social sciences and emphasizes their practical application to concrete research questions through hands-on, laboratory-style activities (8 hours).The final part of the course is dedicated to research planning, the production of final research outputs, and the presentation of research projects (6 hours).
