Contenuti
SUBJECT AND PROGRAMME: Through the analysis of archaeological remains (buildings and material culture), the course covers medieval archaeology in the Mediterranean world with a main focus on the Italian peninsula. In particular, it is organised in two sections, one theoretical and one practical. In particular, after an initial introductory part focusing on the development of medieval archaeology in Italy, a number of lessons will be devoted to the development of critical skills in the analysis of medieval contexts and buildings. Once these theoretical skills have been acquired, some study contexts will be selected on which to apply the acquired knowledge.
