The course aims to provide knowledge on the composition of cosmetic products and how to prepare finished formulas. The main objectives of the course are: -enable the student to critically read the label of a finished product, -be able to theoretically prepare simple and medium complexity formulas The course must allow student to acquire the skills for choosing the necessary substances and the most suitable concentration range to use in relation to the type of formulation to be prepared.
Course Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of pharmaceutical technology and organic chemistry are required
Teaching Methods
The course will take place with both lectures and small group exercises
Assessment Methods
To monitor learning, group exercises will take place during the course. To pass the module, a final written test will be carried out in which the critical reading of a label and/or the completion of a worksheet will be required
