The contents of the course Environmental Ethics aims at highlighting and comparing different human sensitivities in terms of defense of the "common home" and deepen the combustion process and fire as topics that, in different ways, influence the climate and that, in particula, urge each of us to a significant change of our approach in order to start protecting the environment.

Assessment Methods
Students who have attended to at least 70% of lessons, can agree with the Responsible Teacher a topic to be illustrated through a brief thesis and to be discussed during the exam session: the topic must be only related to environmental aspects and represent, if necessary, a very short presentation related to technical aspects and to be agreed in advance with the lecturer on the specific topic.
Otherwise, the exam takes place as a question and discussion on the topics contained in the reference text, which is Pope Francis' Encyclical "Laudato Sì".

The course begins with a Lectio Magistralis on the theme of "Integral Ecology", an initiative in memory of Vincenzo Riganti, a professor of this University who worked in this direction and was one of the promoters of this Course.
