At the end of the third module the student will reach an intermediate/B1 level of linguistic proficiency (CEFR), equivalent to HSK level 3. HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is an exam that measures the ability of people to use the Chinese language who are not native speakers. The test is administered by Hanban, an agency of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
Course Prerequisites
Previous knowledge of the language is required, which can be achieved with at least 80 hours of study.

Assessment Methods
The exam consists of a written test and an oral test. It is possible to take the oral exam only after passing the written test. The duration of the written test is 2 hours. The use of the dictionary is not permitted for any test.
