The course aims at developing managerial skills for a better management of transformation processes within organisations and innovation eco-systems, to cope the ‘grand challanges’ of our times (e.g. climate change, pandemic, digital revolution, resource shortage, value chains disruption, etc.). The focus goes primarily on different forms of business trasformation, though a central argument is the so-called ‘twin transformation’, embracing the interwined relationship between sustainability issues (both social and environmental) and digital transformation. In doing so, science-based innovation and management of cutting-edge technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, quantum computing, cloud computing, digital twins, etc.) are key arguments over the entire course.
