Syllabus

Course Objectives

Knowing the techniques of music printing, main printers and publishers, from the beginning of print to the XIX century. Knowing out to produce a bibliographic description of a sixteenth-century music book.

Course Prerequisites

None specific prerequisite is requested.
A generic knowledge of the history of music (secc. XV-XIX) is advised.

Teaching Methods

Lectures, multimedia didactics. Students will be asked to interact with the Professor.

Assessment Methods

Oral examination, which focuses on the acquired skills
