The lessons will start at Intermediate level, reaching Upper Intermediate level by the end of the course.

Teaching Methods
Lessons will be a combination of lecture-style instruction and classroom practice, but also online (students will receive information about this at the beginning of the course) and will be complemented by a number of assignments to be completed at home. The grammar and vocabulary content of the programme will be presented through the linguistic analysis of authentic materials in English, both written and audio-visual. Although grammar is not the main focus of the programme, some grammatical structures will be reviewed through exercises related to the comprehension and analysis of the texts used. The course also aims to provide students with a range of self-study tools in order to promote lifelong learning.
Assessment Methods
The exam is written. It will test the students' skills and understanding through reading comprehension, writing, grammar and vocabulary exercises. Successful students must achieve a score of 60/100 and will be awarded an evaluation (excellent, very good, good, fair, pass, fail).
