The aim of the course is to provide the core concepts on the topics of public and collective health, hygiene, preventive medicine, and community medicine, with particular reference to their application in medicine and surgery, as well as to enable students to understand the professional and social relevance of the discipline.

Teaching Methods
Lectures delivered through PowerPoint presentations; quizzes and discussion sessions about complementary readings on the topics covered during the course.
Assessment Methods
The written exam consists of multiple-choice questions, with a maximum score of 26/30. Those who pass the written test with a satisfactory grade may voluntarily take an oral exam, allowing them to achieve a maximum score of 30/30.
