At the end of the course the student will have acquired some basic knowledge of Christianity from the 16th to the 18th century and will be able to orient himself between bibliographic tools and fundamental websites to deepen their knowledge.
Course Prerequisites
Knowledge of the general outline of modern and contemporary history, which can be acquired also in parallel with the course.
Teaching Methods
Frontals lectures mainly presented using Powerpoint presentations, video and online research. A summary of lessons and the texts discussed during the course will be available for downloading on KIRO UNIPV.
Assessment Methods
FOR FREQUENT AND NON-ATTENTIVE STUDENTS, the exam will consist of an oral interview. During the oral exam, the in-depth analysis will be evaluated knowledge of the problems covered in the readings. The lack of knowledge of one of the scheduled texts will cause a negative evaluation. Gaps in the knowledge of the texts in the program, poor ability to recognise sources and historiographical reconstruction, inappropriate language will imply an evaluation not exceeding enough. Mostly mechanical and/or mnemonic knowledge, synthesis and limited analyses, correct language, but not always appropriate will provide for a discreet evaluation. Full knowledge of the texts, good ability to synthesise and analyse, fully valid and appropriate language will allow a good to excellent evaluation.
