Good knowledge of the Italian language. Basic knowledge of the history of the ancient world
Teaching Methods
Lectures. Ancient Greek and Latin literary sources will be read and commented in Italian translation; iconographic sources will be made available through PowerPoint
Assessment Methods
Oral examinations. Students will be asked to discuss at least one of the major problems related to the art of war in the ancient world (8th C. BC - 4th C. AD) and one of the sources read and commented during the lessons
