The course aims to deepen knowledge of Old Church Slavonic grammar and to provide an introduction to Church Slavonic. The cours aims to enable students to analyze passages from South- and East- Slavic Medieval texts.
Course Prerequisites
Elements of Slavic linguistics.

Lectures and practice dealing with the analysis of passages from South- and East- Slavic Medieval works.
Assessment Methods
Oral exam aiming to verify the ability to discuss and synthetize the historical-cultural topics of the course and the analysis of the passages made during the lessons.

The course deals with the study of Old Church Slavonic in depth. It deals with Old Church Slavonic and Church Slavonic written production too. Passages from South- and East- Slavic Medieval works will be analyzed from the historical, literary and linguistic point of view.
